In a central hour of remembrance on March 1, 2024, the state parliament, together with the state government, commemorated the millions of people who were disenfranchised, persecuted, tortured and murdered by the National Socialist regime. The photo shows (from left) me, Mario Franz from the Lower Saxony Association of German Sinti, State Parliament President Dr. Gunnar Schellenberger and Jana Müller from the Dessau-Rosslau City Archives.
The Romani Weiss Swingtett provided the accompaniment for the memorial event on March 1, 2024 in the Magdeburg state parliament.
